- 4. Consider replacing the affected hardware, as the WRT54g is end-of-life and no longer receives security updates from the vendor.
- 5. As an alternative, flash the router with third-party firmware such as OpenWrt or DD-WRT if hardware capabilities permit, which may address some authentication issues, though the underlying hardware remains limited.
