XnView Classic for Windows Version 2.40 contains a memory corruption vulnerability in its .fpx (FlashPix) image format parser. The vulnerability allows remote code execution when processing a specially crafted .fpx file due to an out-of-bounds write where data from a faulting address controls a subsequent write address in the gffGetFormatInfo function.
