- 1. Back up the current device configuration and settings before performing any firmware update.
- 2. Obtain the TIM 1531 IRC firmware version V1.1 or later from the official Siemens support portal (cert-portal.siemens.com or siemens.com/productcert).
- 3. Access the TIM 1531 IRC web interface via HTTPS on port 443/tcp or HTTP on port 80/tcp.
- 4. Navigate to the firmware upgrade or system maintenance section of the device management interface.
- 5. Upload the V1.1 firmware file and initiate the upgrade process.
- 6. Wait for the firmware to be applied and the device to reboot automatically.
- 7. After reboot, verify the device is running firmware version V1.1 or later by checking the system information in the web interface.
