A stack based buffer overflow exists in Delta Electronics Delta Industrial Automation DOPSoft when parsing the wLogTitlesPrevValueLen field of a DPS file. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by enticing a user to open a specially crafted DPS file to achieve remote code execution.

A stack-based buffer overflow exists in Delta Electronics DOPSoft when parsing the wLogTitlesPrevValueLen field of DPS project files. By crafting a DPS file with an oversized value in this length field, an attacker can overflow a fixed-size stack buffer and overwrite return addresses or adjacent variables, achieving arbitrary code execution when the victim opens the malicious file.
