An out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the VPR file parsing functionality of V-Server V4.0.18.0 and earlier (including V-Server Lite). When a user opens a specially crafted malicious VPR file, the parser accesses memory outside allocated buffer boundaries. This memory corruption can lead to information disclosure from process memory and potentially enable arbitrary code execution in the context of the running application.
