Official description Straight from the sourceThe vendor's or NVD's own wording, published unedited. Authoritative, but often terse — it says what broke, rarely what to do.

NVD · unedited
A vulnerability was determined in liyupi yu-picture up to a053632c41340152bf75b66b3c543d129123d8ec. This impacts the function PageRequest of the file yu-picture-backend/src/main/java/com/yupi/yupicturebackend/service/impl/PictureServiceImpl.java of the component MyBatis-Plus. Executing a manipulation of the argument sortField can lead to sql injection. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. This product does not use versioning. This is why information about affected and unaffected releases are unavailable. Applying a patch is advised to resolve this issue. The project was informed of the problem early through a pull request but has not reacted yet.

How this class of weakness works · CWE-74

Untrusted input crosses into a downstream interpreter — SQL, a shell, an HTML page, an LDAP query — without being kept separate from the commands around it, so the attacker's data is read as instructions. This is the parent class behind SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and command injection alike. The durable fix is the same everywhere: keep data and code apart at every boundary, using parameterisation or context-aware encoding rather than building interpreted strings by concatenation.

Recommended fix Moderate confidence
  1. Review the patch provided in GitHub PR #3 at https://github.com/liyupi/yu-picture/pull/3 to understand the code changes
  2. Locate the file yu-picture-backend/src/main/java/com/yupi/yupicturebackend/service/impl/PictureServiceImpl.java
  3. Identify the PageRequest function and the sortField parameter handling
  4. Apply the same or equivalent fix from the PR - typically this involves using parameterized queries or whitelist validation for the sortField parameter instead of direct string concatenation in the MyBatis-Plus query
  5. Rebuild and redeploy the application
