Oracle WebLogic Server 12c or later / Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g or later

  1. 1. Oracle Application Server 1.x and 9.x are End of Life and no longer receive security patches. Identify current production dependencies on these legacy versions.
  2. 2. Migrate from Oracle Application Server to a supported Oracle product such as Oracle WebLogic Server 12c or later, or Oracle Fusion Middleware.
  3. 3. If immediate migration is not feasible, apply the last available Critical Patch Update (CPU) for Oracle Application Server from October 2005 (or the final CPU that covered this product).
  4. 4. Implement network segmentation to restrict access to the vulnerable Web Cache component.
  5. 5. If Web Cache functionality is not required in production, disable or remove the Web Cache component entirely.
  6. 6. After migration, apply latest Critical Patch Updates for the new Oracle product.
