The IAC-AST2500A firmware ships with a hard-coded/default TLS certificate and corresponding private key embedded in the firmware image. Because the same certificate is used across all devices, any attacker who extracts or obtains this certificate can impersonate the server and perform Man-in-the-Middle attacks against HTTPS connections, intercepting or modifying encrypted traffic.
