CVE-2022-48761
Official description Straight from the sourceThe vendor's or NVD's own wording, published unedited. Authoritative, but often terse — it says what broke, rarely what to do.

This problem was hidden by power domain driver, which call run time resume before it. But the below commit remove it and make this issue happen. commit c1df456d0f06e ("PM: domains: Don't runtime resume devices at genpd_prepare()") This patch call run time resume before suspend to make sure clock is on before access register. Remediation Closing itWhat it takes to close this. Where a vendor fix exists we point at it; where none exists we say so plainly, and can build one. Effort estimates are scoped from the advisory, not from your codebase.
dbcve · scoped5.10.965.15.195.16.5
5.15.19+ or 5.16.5+ (or 5.10.96+ for 5.10.x branch, 5.18+ for 5.17)
- Identify current kernel version using `uname -r`
- Determine which kernel branch is in use (e.g., 5.10.x, 5.15.x, 5.16.x, 5.17.x)
- Upgrade to a fixed kernel version: for 5.10.x use >=5.10.96, for 5.15.x use >=5.15.19, for 5.16.x use >=5.16.5, for 5.17 use >=5.18
- Reboot the system to apply the new kernel
- Verify the fix is applied by checking the kernel version and confirming no crash occurs during suspend with remote wakeup enabled

The advisory tells you what broke. It rarely tells you what actually worked. If you’ve dealt with this one, that detail is what the next engineer is searching for.
- The version that genuinely resolved it — not the one the vendor claimed
- A config change or rule that shut the vector down
- A gotcha in the upgrade path that cost you an afternoon
