BIG-IP 17.1.1 or later
- 1. Backup the current BIG-IP configuration using 'tmsh save sys config' command.
- 2. Verify the current BIG-IP version using 'tmsh show sys version' command.
- 3. Download BIG-IP version 17.1.1 or later from the F5 Downloads portal (my.f5.com).
- 4. Upload the ISO image to the BIG-IP device using SCP or the web management interface.
- 5. Install the new volume using 'tmsh install sys volume' command with the downloaded image.
- 6. Boot into the new volume and verify the upgrade was successful using 'tmsh show sys version'.
- 7. Test the Advanced WAF/ASM policies to confirm functionality is restored.
- 8. Confirm the BD process is stable and not terminating under load.
