Technical summary Written by usOur analysis, written from the advisory, the CVSS vector and the affected-version data. It adds context the advisory leaves out, and never invents facts that are not in the source.

dbcve analysis · moderate confidence

This vulnerability exists in the web server module of Sante PACS Server during URL path parsing. The lack of proper validation of user-supplied URL data allows remote attackers to trigger memory corruption by sending specially crafted HTTP requests. Since no authentication is required, this memory corruption leads to a denial-of-service condition on the affected system.

MitigationApply the vendor-provided patch for Sante PACS Server when available. As an interim measure, consider deploying a WAF or input validation layer in front of the web server to filter potentially malicious URL patterns.

Am I affected? How to checkSteps we derive from the advisory and the affected-version data, so you can decide whether this CVE reaches your setup. They are a guide, not a scan — your own configuration is the authority.

dbcve checks

Work through these to decide whether this CVE applies to you.

  1. Identify if Sante PACS Server is installed
Check for Sante PACS Server installation by looking for its program files, installation directories, or running service process on the system.
Affected if The product is found to be installed on the system
  2. Determine the installed version
Locate the version information in the application installation directory, registry, or by querying the running service. Compare your installed version against the affected range: version 4.0.10 and later are fixed, versions below 4.0.10 are vulnerable.
Affected if The installed version is below 4.0.10
  3. Verify the web server module is active
Check if the Sante PACS web server module is running and accessible on the network. This may be observable through listening ports (typically HTTP/HTTPS) or through service status.
Affected if The web server module is enabled and accessible on the network

If the installed Sante PACS Server version is below 4.0.10 and the web server module is accessible, the environment is affected by CVE-2025-0574.
