- 1. Identify the currently installed FortiManager or FortiAnalyzer version using the web UI (System Settings > Dashboard > Status) or CLI: `get system status`
- 2. Based on your current major version, plan the upgrade path: for 6.2.x upgrade to 6.2.13+, for 6.4.x upgrade to 6.4.14+, for 7.0.x upgrade to 7.0.10+, for 7.2.x upgrade to 7.2.4 or later
- 3. Download the appropriate firmware from Fortinet Customer Support portal (https://support.fortinet.com)
